We are having BABY #2 due December 27-December 31. My projected due date is December 31st but the ultrasound lady said that from the length of the baby my due date could be early which means that I'm about a week farther along then I thought. We are super excited about bringing another baby into our family and William hasn't completely understood that I'm having a baby yet but he will learn soon enough. I am currently 10 weeks and 4 days along.

Update on Life
Hi everyone, sorry its been forever since I last posted on here. Lots of happened in our family. All of your summer activities, William's first birthday, trip to Bend, and Halloween. In July we camped for a week by Mt. Saint Helen's on one of the lakes and had lots of fun. Also, William had his first swimming lessons for a month starting the end of July to August.
Here are some pictures of our camping trip where William loved playing in the dirt and with sticks..
Here he is playing in some leaves when we went hiking to some see some waterfalls.
August 29 was William's 1st Birthday! We had family and some friends from both sides meet us at Bush Park by the playground closer to South High School. I bought a cake from Roth's for everyone else and my sister Andrea made William's cake.

William's Cake: Chocolate cake, banana Everyone else's cake for his party
filling, and chocolate frosting
Before eating his cake I decided to have presents. He got new clothes, rain jacket, books, videos, shoes, toys, and a riding car. William was very unsure what to do when I handed him the cake at first. Then we started eating it on the side near to him and liked. He didn't get too messy until about 10 minutes in when he got a sugar high because there was frosting/cake everywhere on him, the highchair, the ground. He started throwing and smashing his cake. It was super funny. Here are before and after pictures of him with his cake:

September I started back to work as a substitute teacher with Jason watching William and things started to slow down. Then at the beginning of October we went and visited my sister, brother-in-law, and nephew in Bend for the weekend. We left Friday and had dinner at their house, then sat we went to a Pumpkin Patch on the outside of Redmond where there are pony rides, pumpkin launchers, petting zoo, pumpkins, and food. William had lots of fun eating the hay, riding the pony, seeing the animals, getting pumpkins.
Here are some pictures of us at the pumpkin patch:

Cold Medicine Recall for Infants and Chidlren
Here is a link to a website talking about the recall on Infant and Children's cold medicines. I'm going to call William's doctor office monday to ask about it because I've been giving it to him off and on the last couple of weeks for his teeth again. Here is the link:

6 Months Old
William is growing super fast and I can't believe that he is already six months old. At his 6th month appt he got his shots again along with being 17.4 lbs and 27 1/2 inches long. He is in the 90% percentile for his weight, height, and head. He is sitting up on his own, drinking from a cup, eating fruits & vegetable, and getting ready to crawl. Its super cute when he gets up on his hands and knees and just rocks back and forth not going anywhere. Also, he moves himself forward by getting up on his toes and leaping himself forward to whatever he wants. Sometimes he goes backwards by pushing with his hands. William has one tooth on the bottom and two more teeth working their way through. He still sleeps 10 hours at night and takes at least 2 naps during the day. He talks, plays with toys, smiles, and laughs all the time. We love having William in our lives and enjoy seeing him grow and change into a young boy.

Thanksgiving 2009
This year like the last 2 years Jason and I have gone to both family for thanksgiving, getting 2 meals instead of just one.
This year we went to my parents in the afternoon where we ate kinda light and then we went to Jason's parents at 4 where we ate more food and pie. At my parents house it was us, my parents, my sister Andrea, and my brother Alan and his family. At Jason's parents house it was us, his parents, and his sister Jami and her family.
There are so many things to be thankful of this year, but especially for our healthy baby boy William who will be 3 months old sunday and growing tons.
This morning Jason went shopping on Black Friday at 2 in the morning to Walmart first and then to other stores so that i wouldn't have to go or wake up William. He got gifts for me and his side of the family. We're not planning on buying William many gifts because all of our family will be getting him things and he will only be about 4 months so he won't know what is going on. I am going to buy him a stocking and put things in his stocking for Christmas morning. Hope everything that went shopping this morning survived and got what they were looking for along with having fun.

Update on my Dad's Health
My dad and I at my high school graduation
For those of you that know my dad has lung cancer and is doing really well with the cemo and radiation. He has 1 more cemo on monday and then a 2 week break before getting more and he'll continue with radiation for 5 more weeks. He hasn't been sick, but super hyper where he stays up till 11 at night where before he went to bed at 8. Please keep praying for my dad and family as we are going through this with him.
Hope everyone has a great thanksgiving.

First Post
This is my very first post on my blog. I am back subbing for Salem-Keizer school district along with other surrounding districts. I am glad that I am subbing lots, but at the same time I would love to have my own classroom which will come in God's own time and not mine.
William is 10 weeks old now and growing a ton. He was 10 lbs 13 oz and 22.5 inches long at his 2 month appt The doctor said that he is perfect and that the little hole in his heart is all closed up because she couldn't hear it when listening to his heart.
I will try to keep this up to date as new events occur in our lives and thank you for looking at my blog and reading all the wonderful things about my family.
